Standing Committee on Reproductive Health including HIV / AIDS (SCORA) CIMSA UNEJ has responsibilities and roles to improve awareness of issues on reproductive health, disseminate information about HIV / AIDS, and change the stigma of Jember people to people with HIV / AIDS.
Jember was ranked third in the HIV / AIDS case in East Java, with 2,240 cases in 2015 (Data from Jember Health Office), with 10 red areas determined by KPA namely Sumbersari, Puger, Kencong, Gumukmas, Wuluhan, Kaliwates, Umbulsari, Bangsalsari, Ambulu, and Patrang. Education on HIV / AIDS can improve people’s understanding of HIV / AIDS while reducing the spread of HIV / AIDS in Jember District.
