WARRIOR (From Worlds Aids Day to be Savior) – December 7th-8th, 2019

Situasi penyebaran HIV/AIDS di Indonesia seperti dilaporkan oleh Ditjen P2P, Kemenkes RI, tanggal 27 Agustus 2019, menunjukkan jumlah kumulatif kasus HIV/AIDS yang mendekati angka setengah juta atau 500.000 yaitu 466.859 yang terdiri atas 349.882 HIV dan 116.977 AIDS. Sedangkan estimasi kasus HIV/AIDS di Indonesia pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 640.443. Dengan demikian yang baru terdeteksi sebesar 60,70 persen. Setiap tahun terjadi kenaikan jumlah kasus HIV yang dilaporkan sejak tahun 2005 sampai dengan tahun 2019. Ada lima provinsi dengan jumlah kasus HIV tertinggi yang menempati peringkat satu sampai lima: DKI Jakarta (62.108), Jawa Timur (51.990), Jawa Barat (36.853), Papua (34.473), dan Jawa Tengah (30.257). Sedangkan jumlah kasus AIDS yang dilaporkan dari tahun 2005 sampai dengan tahun 2019 relatif stabil setiap tahun. Jumlah kumulatif AIDS dari tahun 1987 sampai dengan Juni 2019 sebanyak 117.064. Faktor risiko penularan terbanyak melalui hubungan seksual berisiko heteroseksual (70,2%), penggunaan alat suntik tidak steril (8,2%), homoseksual (7%), dan penularan melalui perinatal (2,9%).Bertolak dari laporan ini persoalan besar adalah penemuan kasus HIV/AIDS yang baru mencampai 60,70 persen dari estimasi kasus HIV/AIDS. Ini jadi persoalan besar karena warga yang mengidap HIV/AIDS tapi tidak terdeteksi jadi mata rantai penyebaran HIV/AIDS di masyarakat, terutama melalui hubungan seksual tanpa kondom di dalam dan di luar nikah. Kondisinya kian parah karena tidak semua warga yang terdiagnosis mengidap HIV mendapat terapi obat ARV (antiretroviral). Dari 70% yang sudah pernah mendapat pengobatan ARV, hanya 33% yang rutin menerima pengobatan ARV, selebihnya putus obat ARV sebesar 23%. Untuk mencegah/ memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang HIV/AIDS, SCORA CIMSA UNEJ mengadakan aktivitas dengan nama WARRIOR (From Worlds Aids Day to be Savior)

Aktivitas ini diadakan pada tanggal 7 Desember dan 8 Desember 2019. Pada hari Sabtu, 7 Desember 2019 SCORA CIMSA UNEJ memberikan edukasi ke daerah lokalisasi Jember yaitu di Puger. Disana kami memberikan edukasi tentang cara preventif agar tidak tertular HIV/AIDS serta kami juga mengadakan free VCT test untuk pekerja seks di Daerah Puger, Jember.

Esoknya yaitu hari Minggu, 9 Desember 2019. Kami mengadakan WARRIOR di Alun-alun kota Jember saat CFD. Pada hari Minggu kami melakukan long march di sekitar alun-alundan masyarakat yang sudah berkumpul di alun-alun untuk CFD terlihat sangat tertarik dengan kami setelah long march kami melakukan campaign di sana kepada orang-orang tentang HIV / AIDS sebenarnya banyak orang yang tidak menyadari HIV / AIDS sehingga kami memberi mereka pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mereka tentang hal itu. Setelah itu kami mengadakan VCT. VCT untuk HIV / AIDS biasanya melibatkan dua sesi konseling: satu sebelum mengikuti tes yang dikenal sebagai “konseling pra-tes” dan satu mengikuti tes HIV ketika hasilnya diberikan, sering disebut sebagai “pasca tes konseling “. Semoga dengan kegiatan ini kita dapat meningkatkan kesadaran orang tentang HIV / AIDS di Jember dan bermanfaat bagi member CIMSA UNEJ.

  MAMA (Maternal Acquaintance for Mom’s Awareness) – 25th May 2019

Maternal Mortality Ratio or Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) is the number of maternal deaths due to complications of pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium period recorded within one year per 1000 live births at the same time. Jember, one of city in East Java, has to be first position of the highest maternal mortality ratio in East Java. According to the health profile of Kabupaten Jember, in 2014 in Arjasa Subdistrict, the drop out of antenatal care or ANC rate was very high (K1 = 97%; K4 = 47%). This condition certainly has a big influence on AKI in Jember. Therefore, MAMA (Maternal Acquaintance for Mom’s Awareness) decided to focus on the ANC, especially to increase the number of ANC visits in Kemuninglor Village, Arjasa Sub district, as a strategy to reduce maternal morality ratio in Jember Regency.

On Saturday, 25th May, 2019, Community Development of SCORA CIMSA UNEJ, MAMA, does intervention to the pregnant women and WUS in Kemuning Lor Village, Arjasa Sub district, Jember Regency. On Saturday, April 13th 2019, a MAMA bonding was held. This activity was held in Kemuninglor Village, Arjasa District, Jember Regency. In the same day, POSYANDU was held also in this village. So that, this bonding event was held with POSYANDU activities in the village. MAMA was began with opening, after that it was continued by sharing about ANC explained by Indra Caesar as PETRA. In the middle of sharing, pregnant women or ibu-ibu was very enthusiastic to pay attention and answer a number of questions asked by the speaker. After sharing, in order not to get bored we invited pregnant women and WUS to sing the song “Ayo ANC” and give a game. The game was myths or facts about pregnancy. When the games ware done, mothers looked very eager to answer some of the statements given by OC regarding pregnancy. Mothers who succeeded in answering and explaining OC’s statements whether myths or facts then given door prizes such as household appliances.

NPEW (National Peer Education Workshop) 2019

Penyakit HIV AIDS adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus Human Immunodeficiency Virus yang menyerang sistem kekebalan tubuh. Infeksi tersebut menyebabkan penderita mengalami penurunan ketahanan tubuh sehingga sangat mudah untuk terinfeksi berbagai macam penyakit lain.Data Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Jember menunjukkan jumlah kasus HIV AIDS sejak 2004 hingga April 2018 mencapai 3.786 kasus, dimana pada bulan April sendiri mencapai 260 kasus. Pada tahun 2018 hingga bulan April terdapat 288 pasien diantaranya meninggal dunia. Dari data tersebut didapatkan bahwa usia rata-rata yang mengalami kasus HIV AIDS antara umur 25-49 tahun. Ibu rumah tangga merupakan jenis pekerjaan dengan jumlah kasus terbanyak.

SAVE US (Sexual Assault View on Unawareness Rights)

International Women’s Day is celebrated every March 8, and in 2019 CIMSA UNEJ held an activity namely SAVE US! (Sexual Assault View on Unawareness Rights). Based on secondary data, the annual record of violence against women in violence in 2017 was 348,466 cases. This figure is higher when compared to 2016, which was 259,150 cases, and this number might continue to increase. According to data from the 2016 National Women’s Life Survey (SPHPN) that 1 in 3 women had experienced sexual and physical violence.Continue reading

WARRIOR – World Aids Day 2018

Hello CIMSA! Every year precisely at December 1st since 1988 commemorated as World AIDS Day. World AIDS Day dedicated for improving awareness people thats AIDS are still became main cause of death in the world right now. In our country, Indonesia according to  Global Health Observatory data repository WHO 2017, around 630.000 living person with HIV/AIDS. Jember are ranked 2 in West Java Region as the city with most HIV/AIDS there are about 4.018 person living with HIV/AIDS from 2004 until 2018. To celebrate and improving people awareness about HIV/AIDS SCORA CIMSA UNEJ held project called WARRIOR in short of From World AIDS Day to be Saviour. This activities was held for 2 days at Saturday, December 1st 2018 and at Sunday, December 2nd 2018.
